Day four of the Ghana road trip: more driving perils.
We left Beyin and headed east in the direction of Cape Coast. The day had started out overcast and now it started to rain a little. Stanley was wearing his seatbelt but going too fast and following too closely, as usual.
A police barrier came into view, and there was a long line of cars waiting to go through it. Stanley was not slowing down enough when the car in front of us braked a little more than he expected. He mashed on the brake — and by the way, the brake seal had not been repaired yet.
With no further road incidents, we made it back to Ko-Sa Beach Resort, where we stayed overnight. We were greeted warmly by the Ko-Sa staff.
My former room was available, so I stayed in it again. They really have lovely bed linens here.
